Anti-Spam and Email Sending Policy

The published text is the website page, apps/website/app/anti-spam/page.tsx, served at https://vlozi.app/anti-spam. It is the only copy.

This file used to hold a long-form draft. It duplicated the page and drifted from it, so it was replaced by this pointer. The draft is in git history (commit b70fc616; the version with the operator filled in is 9673b57d).

Facts the page depends on, so they are not lost:

  • The thresholds in section 6 are the values in apps/communication/src/lib/reputation.ts: warn at 2.5% hard bounces or 0.05% complaints, may pause at 5% or 0.1% with at least 2 complaints, over a rolling 7 days, once a workspace has sent at least 200 recipients. Confirmation mail and bounces from an address already on a provider's suppression list are not counted. Pausing is automatic only if REPUTATION_ENFORCE is on; it is off in production (checked 2026-10-07, G68), so the page's "may pause" describes a manual staff action today.
  • Unsubscribes are per workspace, not platform-wide. A complaint suppresses an address for the workspace permanently; a hard bounce suppresses it for every workspace for 180 days.
  • The automatic footer, one-click header and postal-address check apply to newsletter campaigns only (apps/newsletter-service). Flows, form replies and mailbox mail do not enforce them (G75).
  • A review of a new workspace's first campaigns is deliberately not promised: that control does not exist yet (phase-b.md).
  • Vlozi's own newsletter list holds about 503 contacts who never opted in; consent is revoked by revoke-unconsented-import.mjs, which is overdue now that the page is live (G17, G61).
